Or, at least, it 'feels' that way. My son just turned 16 this month. I can't believe he'll be considered an adult in 2 years, the options open to him...specifically that of making his own life impacting decisions. And I know that more times than not, that very thing does surprisingly well. :-) But I will, and already do, miss that little boy that would satellite me, because he couldn't stand to have me out of his sight. Thanks for your post...I can't imagine being there yet, but it's right around the corner.
